It’s not every day that you get to work on such an amazing organization that spends their time doing everything that they can to save the lives of animals in Nevada. One such organization is a non-profit, The Animal Foundation that operates Nevada’s largest animal shelter. Founded in 1978 as a small, low-cost spay and neuter clinic, The Animal Foundation currently operates and manages an 8-acre Las Vegas campus that houses a multitude of services and provides a refuge for more than 45,000 lost, unwanted, neglected and abandoned animals every year.
So, it’s great to hear that The Animal Foundation is currently in the running to be awarded a $25,000 prize from the ASPCA $100K Challenge Community Engagement Award!
So, I’m asking all of you to do what you can and vote for The Animal Foundation to be one of the three finalists to win the prize! It takes $100 to provide one week of care for a pet. So, imagine what $25,000 can do for the animals of Nevada!
Now through August 31, voters who log onto their Facebook account and visit www.votetosavelives.org can place their daily vote for The Animal Foundation. You can vote once per day! Remember, every vote counts! Let’s help get The Animal Foundation to where they should be in this challenge!
