Sew what: Chic uniforms planned for Virgin Hotels Las Vegas

Recently unveiled uniform designs at the Virgin Hotels Las Vegas highlight the modern aesthetic planned for the property.

Uniforms will feature clean lines and chic silhouettes, the hotel said. They will have a neutral color palette, with earth tone shades of khaki, chocolate, rust, burgundy and olive. Fabric designs include custom prints exclusive to Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. Poolside uniforms will evoke Mexico resort Tulum and Greece while celebrating the desert.

Some departments will offer employees the opportunity to select the design for their body type and personality. Employees will also be offered layering pieces for winter months.

“When you look good, you feel good. Confidence with what you are wearing is very important. So, we made it a priority to design uniforms that did just that for our team members,” said Richard Bosworth, president and CEO of JC Hospitality, owner of Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.

Barbara Bell, owner of Bell Uniform Design, based in Las Vegas, who designed the uniform program for the resort, said the experience has “been a dream.”
