The Challenge

Palms Casino Resort has a storied history of playful extravagance and star-studded occasions. From spring break soirees and concerts, to award shows and filming of the Real World – the experiences that took place at Palms helped define a decade.  Over the years, the Vegas market shifted and guests began to seek sophisticated boutique accommodations and personalized experiences. To evolve with guest preferences and stay competitive in a crowded market, the legendary Vegas hot spot began a $50M renovation in June 2012 to provide a chic and refined new experience. Our challenge: to introduce the new Palms to guests and win new visitors.

Our Approach

From Jun. 2012 – Aug. 2013, the team rolled out consistent property updates with press releases and strategic placements.

Starting with local and national exclusives including 2 separate USA Today features about the property transformation and a first look at the new rooms, we spurred momentum with an eye-catching multimedia release with room images and a link to book, and continued with aggressive tailored pitching to key media.

To introduce the renovation before guests walked in the door, we promoted engagement across social media platforms and implemented an immersive website design.
